Random Musings - (Pet) Photo Edition!
OK, sooo, it's been, what? A little over 2 months? Whoops! Blame the Florida heat, it has killed all of my creativity and sense of humor! (Not to mention my willingness to move away from in front of the fans.) So, lacking any creativity what-so-ever, here's some pics and brief descriptions of my moms dogs and my cat, Chloe (who is the cutest wittle kitty cat in the whole wide world). What?
So, anyway, new development! We got (another) dog! Cause you know, 7 is just never enough!! (And besides, I got to hear my dad's reaction. It was even better than when we got Ginger!!! I could feel the disapproval oozing through the phone straight through the silence!!!! Heehee!!) But anywhoo, it's a male Maltipoo (no, I didn't know what one was either till we got him. Apparently it's a small breed though, he'll only get to be about 5-6 lbs.) that we named Snickerdoodle. I am somewhat responsible for that name, because my sister wanted to name him Snickers. This dog is cream and light brown. Not exactly the coloring of a Snickers, but maybe I'm too literal o_O. So I suggested adding the "Doodle" part, cause that way at least the coloring would match since they were so damn insistent. I, personally, wanted to name him Kodiak, cause he has cute little bear paws and if you watch him walk from behind he looks like a bear, but nooooo. I just call him Snick and try to forget the rest (heh). Here's a picture of him(Kinda blurry, but I was still learning to use the camera at the time. I'm gonna take some more in the next few days.);
For some odd reason, he absolutely loves sleeping on the vent in my room. I'm not sure why, but hey, to each his own! And no, my room wasn't messy (at the time, is now! :p), he likes the towel. He really is adorable, but he's teething, so all he does is bite people. But he's so darn cute!!!!
This is my cat, Chloe. She is the sweetest little thing! (OK, so she's not so little). She likes eating, sleeping, and trying to knock me off my pillow so she can lay on it. Note I said 'trying'. ;-). She's also somewhat terrified of Snick :-/ but she's gotten better.
Frieda. The loudmouth. She bays when you don't pet her. She bays when you do pet her. She bays when you stop petting her. She bays when you look at her. She bays when you don't look at her. But when she wants your food she just stares. Thankfully she sleeps a lot, or bays at Snoopy instead.
Snoopy. Aka Slick. Aka the Smart-Ass. He didn't like being locked in the backyard so he broke through the siding on our linei and dug a hole under the side outside the fence by the stairs. This dog PLOTS! No wonder Frieda's always screaming at him!
Ginger. The bulldozer. Why go around when she can just bulldoze her way through? This has resulted in her being screamed at quite a few times, cause sometimes her way through involves pain for one of us. Or in my mother's case once, almost being knocked down the stairs. She's just a big puppy, I think she thinks she's only Snick's size. She's really, really not.
Puppy. The other smart-ass. She used to be be a good escape artist too (and very good at framing Buddy for stuff. She'd wait till he was in the room, then do something wrong, then run out of the room so it looked like Buddy did it so he's be punished.) but now she pretty much just wants to be left alone to nap. And everyone (the dogs and us) know better than to disturb her beauty rest. If she's awakened suddenly she'll scream and snap at whoever did it. The other dogs don't mess with her, and we make a lot of noise going up to her so she's not startled. When she's awake she's a really sweet dog though! :-D
Buddy. Another loud-mouth. The wind blowing (or not) is usually enough to set him off, and he's so. freaking. LOUD! He's really sweet except when another dog tries to come up while he's being pet. Or when we give them dinner. Then he growls up a storm and tries to guard every. single. pile. so that no one ELSE dares to get any food. Which is why we have to have piles all over the place so he can't guard them all. He's kinda sick right now though, we're taking him to the vet in the next day or two.
Tyson. The General. My sisters dog, he's a depressed pooch. He pretty much sleeps and eat. He kinda reminds me of a canine version of Eeyore! He's called the General because whenever there's a dog fight he always waddles over as fast as he can and bays at everyone involved like he's telling them off for dissention in the ranks!
Dumpster. The Psycho. My sisters other dog, he's pretty much insane. When I see him in the backyard it's like watching a ping-pong ball. He's always into everything, and he has a weird bottle obsession. He likes empty (or not empty, often to someone's dismay) bottles so he can take off the lid, crush the bottle, and then leave them all over the house. FUN!!! He also competes with Buddy as to who can be a bigger ass during dinner. I think he's winning.
So, that's all of them. *pant* *pant* *wheeze* Maybe next time I'll do an actual REAL post, lol. Maybe when my mother finally turns on the air again. Or maybe I can borrow a laptop when I end up in the hospital for heat-stroke. I'm sure they have air-conditioning!
And now I'm being forced to go clean. Grrr.
Later!

Another stellar post from my favorite quirky (but lovable) hostess! Nice to see you're getting the camera down pretty well. You must be so proud to have immortalized the pack for time and all eternity. The look in the General's eyes will forever haunt me. :-p
Love,
Your Beloved Father
Liked the pics! Snoopy looks pitiful though, and we all KNOW he's definately not as innocent as he looks in that pic. Dumpster looks insane as always, and Buddy looks like hes confused. (Go figure) LOL! you left out how Buddy eats everything in sight! And how Puppy loves to dump trash. LOL! Tyson looks really cute. Snickers is really cute and SMALL! Ginger is adorable, she reminds me of Shorty. I think I'll bring her home with me when I come visit!! Hey, you have enough! And I love that picture of Tubbo. Who am I forgetting??? Oh, yea...Frieda.....ummmm....whatever. HEE HEE
