Shout-Outs, Take-Out, and Why I Love The Discovery Channel

I would like to start by giving a shout-out to Ateri Williams at store #14. There's your shoutout girl. Now stop looking for things to throw at me so I'd mention you. Hee:p

So, two posts in less than a week. I'm outdoing myself (not that that's very hard, mind you, LOL). Not a whole lots been happening, got two of my DVD's I ordered from Amazon.com today (Braveheart, which my mother has never seen and I feel she should have to cry for a month after seeing it same as everyone else, and Memoirs of a Geisha, which I have never seen but I think it looks good, plus Ziyi Zhang is in it and I love her, so life it good, LOL).

My sister and her boyfriend ordered take-out not too long ago, and actually got me something. And she bought me a card yesterday (a nice one!) for absolutely no reason. Now I just have to figure out what the hell she did, LOL. Either that or she must be up to something. Hmmm. Oh, and she just came up here to give me the rest of her onion rings. I love onion rings! Mmmmmm, greasy. Thanks Christine!! (Onion rings get you shout-outs, too, LOL)

Oh oh oh!!! Almost forgot!! The Discovery Channel just started a new show that s perfect for your quirky (but lovable!) hostess!!! Perfect Disaster!!!! It basically uses science to figure out what's the worst that could happen in this instance (debut episode Super Typhoon doing a direct hit on Hong Kong, next week, Super Flood in London), how it could happen, what the devastation would be, and basically if and when this happens you're pretty much just SOL. Hee! My kind of show!! Think of all the sleep I'll be able to lose over this!!!! I'm all aquiver!!!! Yay!!!!! *jumps up and down squealing*

Oh, and the Discovery Channel (which is getting major kudos from me this week, if you didn't notice. Mmmmm, Kudos, yummy chocolatey goodness. Mmmmmm) is also premiering season 2 of Deadliest Catch this Tuesday! First off, I hadn't even known they'd make a season 2, second off, YAY!!!! I don't know what it is about that show, but I love it. I don't like fishing, I don't like boating (i have a phobia about large open bodies of water..ie oceans, lakes, streams, ponds, etc.), I don't like crabs (they look gross, but I sometimes like eating them, but it takes awhile if it's from the shell cause that piece of crabmeat has to be very clean before I eat it, LOL), but I love this show. *Continues jumping up and down squealing*

Anyway, LOL, I just downloaded iTunes, so I'm gonna go look for songs now. I'll post on here again as soon as I get the chance (I know, I know, you can barely function in anticipation of my next post. I feel you. Heh.). So anyways, I'm going away now (and strangely enough, it's not to a nice padded room with a pretty white jacket, LOL).

Later!

Um, Random Stuff I Couldn't Think Of A Title For

OK, so I haven't posted in two weeks. Sue me, LOL.

Seriously, though, it's been a busy couple of weeks for your quirky (but lovable!) hostess. I went to the Natural History Museum in DC with my family ('cause they wanted to come too, LOL)the Sat before last. Loads of fun. Lots of walking back and forth across the mall while waiting for everybody to get there. (Sidenote - Why the hell is it called the mall? I see no stores. Seems odd, LOL.) We also went to the WWII Memorial to see my grandfather's name on their...computer. OK. Whatever. LOL.

Since then, I've either been working or (occasionally) cleaning (THIS hostess is considered domestically challenged, LOL), but mostly when I've been home I've been avoiding my family (hehe) or just plain haven't been able to get on the computer to update (computers in my moms room....Dude, I need a Dell, LOL).

Not really much new has happened (did that make sense to ANYBODY? LOL), besides the fact that I currently have a new show to obsess over, LOL. The new Doctor Who on the Sci-Fi channel. Good show. Funny. The Doctors insane (and kinda hot, LOL), which makes it my kinda show, LOL.

Hey, I wonder if I can change text colors on here? (Hey, look at the page title. I SAID it was random, LOL.) Hmm, I'll try that when I have more time (I have to get ready for work in an hour, and I have other stuff I need to do on here first.) Soooo, yeah.

OK, I need to stop typing now, LOL. I will leave all of you with a (somewhat dark and poor quality cause it was taken with a cell phone by my seven year old nephew. He did a pretty good job though, don't ya think?) with a picture of my cute wittle Chloe kitty (who is the cutest wittle kitty cat in the whole wide world....What?). She also answers to Tubbo, LOL. Don't you worry, though. I'll get a better picture for ya soon, LOL. Hold you enthusiasm. (Suddenly hears crickets chirping.) HEY!!!

Top 10 Things I Do At Work When I'm Bored

10. Pretend I'm Cillian Murphy in 28 Days Later (minus the flesh-eating zombies, gore, and general gross-ness, LOL).

9. Obsess over BSG (OK, Sharon, LOL) spoilers.

8. Wonder why the hell all zombies are of the flesh-eating variety. You would think in this day and age, at least one of the risen dead would have been a vegan, LOL.

7. Oooh, Cadbury cream Eggs!!!!!!!!!

6. Remember one-liners from Airplane ("I am serious, and don't call me Shirley.") and The Princess Bride ("Bye-bye boys! Have fun storming the castle!") that make me laugh, thereby giving further proof to my coworkers that I'm a nutjob, LOL. Like they need more, LOL.

5. Continue to obsess over BSG (Sharon) spoilers.

4. Worry about whatever disaster I recently saw a documentary about on the Discovery Channel. You know, sharks one day, super volcanoes, floods, or tidal waves the next. My personal high point is when I saw a documentary about super black holes in which they said that, in six billion years, our galaxy (the Milky Way...great, now I want a candy bar, LOL) could collide with another galaxy which would destroy everything in each one. Six billion years from now. I couldn't sleep for two weeks, LOL.

3. Continue to work on plot to rid the world of clowns.

2. Try to remember words to the random songs I get stuck in my head for no reason (I mean, come on, when's the last time I even heard Walk Like An Egyptian??? That's just not fair, LOL).

1. So, when Sharon told Helo there was a dark time coming, was it because she's uber depressed 'cause of losing her baby? Or are all Cylons just prophetic? Which would mean that humanity is even more frakked than they thought, LOL. Hmmmmm. Or maybe.............Hey, who are those men with the butterfly nets?
